Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern:
- The exam will consist of only objective-type questions.
- There will be a total of 150 questions.
- Each question carries one mark.
- For every wrong answer, 0.50 marks will be deducted as a negative mark.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- Subjects and their respective number of questions and maximum marks are as follows:
- English: 25 questions, 25 marks
- Odia: 25 questions, 25 marks
- Mathematics: 25 questions, 25 marks
- General Knowledge: 25 questions, 25 marks
- Computer Knowledge: 25 questions, 25 marks
- General Science: 25 questions, 25 marks
- The minimum qualifying marks for SC, ST, PWD, Ex-Servicemen, and Sportsperson category candidates is 30%, and for all other applicants, it’s 35%.
- For Gomitra candidates, the minimum qualifying marks required are 20%.
Selection Process:
- Written Test: Candidates will undergo a return examination in the first stage, focusing on General Knowledge questions.
- Physical Test: Those who clear the written test will proceed to the physical test, comprising two parts: the Physical Measurement Test and the Physical Efficiency Test.
- Document Verification: After successfully passing both stages, candidates will undergo document verification within a specified timeframe.
- Counseling: In the final stage, known as counseling, candidates will be appointed at the district or division level based on their preferences after filling out the necessary options.
