The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the admit card for the Assistant Training Officer (ATO) recruitment 2024. There are 250 vacancies under the Directorate of Technical Education & Training in Cuttack. Eligible candidates can download their admit cards from the official OSSC website (ossc.gov.in) starting July 9, 2024.

The ATO Preliminary Exam 2024 will be held on July 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, using OMR sheets.

Number of Questions & Total Marks: 150 Questions, 150 Marks

Remarks:

  • Syllabus as per Clause-4(c) of the advertisement.
  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Steps to Download ATO Prelims Admit Card 2024

  • Go to the website ossc.gov.in.
  • Look for the “Download Admit Card” section and find the “OSSC ATO Admit Card 2024” link.
  • Click on the link and enter the required details, such as your registration number/user ID and date of birth.
  • Click the submit button.
  • Wait a few seconds for the admit card to display.
  • You will see a PDF of the admit card.
  • Download the admit card and make sure to print at least two copies.

Exam Pattern for OSSC ATO Exam

The written exam will be conducted based on the trade/post. The exam pattern for each post is outlined below:

General Details:

  • The written exam will be conducted on OMR sheets.
  • There will be a penalty of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer, and 1/3rd marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • All questions will be objective-type based.

For Assistant Training Officers (NTC/NAC Holders):

  • Written Exam:
    • Theory: 60 Marks
    • Workshop Calculation and Science: 15 Marks
    • Engineering Drawing: 15 Marks
    • Employability Skill: 10 Marks
    • English: 10 Marks
  • Practical Test:
    • Practical of Craftsman Scheme Curriculum in relevant Trade Training: 40 Marks
  • Certificate Verification:
    • Candidates who remain absent for certificate verification will have their candidature cancelled.

For Non-Engineering Trade (COPA & Dress Making Trades):

  • Written Exam:
    • Theory: 60 Marks
    • Employability Skill: 40 Marks
    • English: 10 Marks
  • Practical Test:
    • Practical of Craftsman Scheme Curriculum in relevant Trade Training: 40 Marks
  • Certificate Verification:
    • Candidates who remain absent for certificate verification will have their candidature cancelled.

For Assistant Training Officer (Diploma/Degree Category):

  • Written Exam:
    • Diploma level 1st year common Syllabus: 90 Marks
    • Entrepreneurship, Management & Smart Technology: 10 Marks
    • Diploma-level Engineering Drawing: 20 Marks
    • Engineering Mathematics: 20 Marks
    • English: 10 Marks
  • Certificate Verification:
    • Candidates who remain absent for certificate verification will have their candidature cancelled.
