Hulk Hogan recently shared that he wanted to become “Triple H” and turn into a villain (heel) after his match with the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI.
In 1990, Hogan lost the WWE Championship to the Ultimate Warrior in the main event of WrestleMania, in what was meant to be a symbolic “passing of the torch,” with Warrior becoming the new face of WWE. However, things didn’t go as planned, and Hogan went on to win the title again the following year at WrestleMania.
Hogan explained in an interview with Barstool Rasslin’ that if it had been up to him, he would have transformed into the “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan character that night and turned heel.
