Agra College, one of the oldest institutions in India, was established in 1823. It is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The college offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses in various disciplines.
In 1924, Agra College celebrated its 100th anniversary, and the event was attended by Sir R. D. Issac, the Viceroy at the time. Initially, the college was affiliated with Calcutta University.
From 1887 to 1926, it was affiliated with Allahabad University. Since 1927, it has been affiliated with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, which was formerly known as Agra University.
